1. A single-phase asynchronous motor is actually a device that can convert electromagnetic energy into mechanical energy. Under normal circumstances, a single-phase asynchronous motor is relatively small in size and only needs a single-phase electrical switching power supply system, which is easy to use and widely used. Used in industries such as industry, agriculture and household appliances.

2. Principle of single-phase asynchronous motor - structure

In single-phase asynchronous motors, there are many methods, but in terms of their relevance, the structure of single-phase asynchronous motors consists of three parts: fixed part, rotating part, support point part, etc. The fixed part refers to the motor stator, and the rotating part refers to the motor The rotor, the support point part refers to the bearing end cover and bearing.

The structure of the motor shaft varies depending on the cooling method of the motor, the form of safety protection, the installation method and the main purpose. According to its material, there are several kinds of pig iron, cast aluminum and thick steel plate structure.

The iron core includes the stator iron core and the rotor iron core of the motor, and is used to form the magnetic circuit of the motor, just like the three-phase asynchronous motor.

The stator winding of a motor is usually divided into two phases: the primary winding and the secondary winding. The centerlines of the two windings are separated by a certain electrical angle. Squirrel cage windings are commonly used for motor rotor windings. Ordinary aluminum alloys are die-cast.

Bearing end cover: Compared with different motor shaft materials, bearing end cover also has aluminum die-casting parts, cast aluminum parts and thick steel plate metal stamping parts.

Bearings: There are ball bearings and oil-impregnated bearings.

3. Principle of single-phase asynchronous motor

When the stator winding of the single-phase asynchronous motor enters the single-phase asynchronous motor, an electromagnetic field condition is generated. The stator winding of the single-phase asynchronous motor is installed on the stator iron core of the motor, and the rotor of the motor is a squirrel-cage structure.

When the single-phase alternating current is introduced into the stator winding of the single-phase asynchronous motor, when the current alternates between the positive and negative half cycles, the magnitude and direction of the electromagnetic field will also change continuously, but the axis of the electromagnetic field will not change along the longitudinal axis. The electromagnetic field at this time is called a pulsating electromagnetic field.

When the rotor of the motor is stationary, the induced current and the amount of current generated by the electrical conductor of the rotor are both 0, and the torque generated is also 0. At this time, the motor rotor has no starting torque. Therefore, if certain measures are not taken, the single-phase asynchronous motor cannot be started. If the motor rotor is rotated by an external force, the motor rotor can continue to rotate in this direction.
