What are the similarities and differences between the maintenance of single-phase asynchronous motors and three-phase asynchronous motors?

A single-phase asynchronous motor refers to an asynchronous motor with only one-phase stator winding and is powered by a single-phase AC power supply. It is a derivative product of a squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor. Its structure is basically the same as that of a squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor. Also rat cage. Therefore, the repair methods for faults such as short circuit, open circuit, grounding, wiring error, and motor overheating of the single-phase asynchronous motor are basically the same as those of the three-phase asynchronous motor.

Although the single-phase asynchronous motor and the three-phase asynchronous motor are basically the same, the following five points are very different:

①The stator winding of a single-phase asynchronous motor has only the main winding and the auxiliary winding. The pole phase groups of the main and auxiliary windings are symmetrical, but the pole phase groups between the main winding and the auxiliary winding of the washing machine motor are not necessarily symmetrical. . The stator windings of the three-phase asynchronous motor are A, B, and C3 symmetrical windings.

②The main winding and the auxiliary winding of the stator winding of the single-phase asynchronous motor are basically separated by an electrical angle of 90° in space. The distance between the main winding and the secondary winding is slightly greater than or less than 90° electrical angle, which has little effect on the single-phase AC motor, unlike the strict requirements of the three-phase asynchronous motor winding. The A, B, C three-phase stator windings of the three-phase asynchronous motor must be separated by 120° electrical angle in space.

③The stator winding of the single-phase asynchronous motor adopts the two-plane embedding method, that is, the main winding is embedded first, the main winding is on the outer layer, and the auxiliary winding is embedded in the inner layer, and the embedding is simpler than the three-phase asynchronous motor winding. The three-phase stator winding of the three-phase asynchronous motor usually adopts the hanging method.

④ The diameter of the secondary winding of the single-phase motor is smaller than that of the main winding, which is easy to burn. If it is burned out, only all or part of the secondary windings can be replaced. However, the stator winding of the three-phase asynchronous motor needs to be replaced by the winding as a unit due to the hanging handle embedding method.

⑤ The winding structure of the single-phase asynchronous motor is more complicated than that of the three-phase asynchronous motor, and the main and secondary windings have different wire diameters. The number of turns of each coil of the same pole phase group is not necessarily equal. There are also many kinds, so it is easy to make mistakes if you do not study carefully during maintenance. The three-phase windings of the three-phase asynchronous motor are produced according to the national unified design standards, and there are unified technical specifications as the basis.
